More than Meets the Eye accompanied an exhibition of works from the CBH Compagnie Bancaire Helvétique African art collection in Geneva — a selection spanning nearly a century, from 1929 to 2025, organised into themes by curator Jean-Yves Marin. The design brief was not to catalogue the exhibition but to extend it: the same colour logic, the same thematic structure, the same visibility given to each work. An earth red Pantone runs as an underlying register throughout, interspersed with the distinct colour codes of each exhibition theme. Caption placement was a central consideration — present and linked to the work without interfering with it. Acumin Thin Condensed heads each section, striking on the page while remaining light; Acumin Regular carries the body text. Printed 4×4 plus one Pantone on Munken Polar 170gsm — an uncoated stock chosen for its textured, tactile quality — with a cloth-bound hard cover and an artwork inset into the front.
